We recently caught up with the School of Management to find out more about MA in Marketing.

 

Q1. What areas can students expect to study in MA Marketing?

Consumers and culture, brands and branding, digital media marketing, arts marketing, services marketing, business to business marketing, marketing’s impact on the environment and society.

Q2. What do you think makes this course different from similarly titled courses on offer across the UK?

It’s distinctive from traditional marketing programmes by focusing on marketing and consumer culture from critical and creative perspectives.

Q3. What are the entry requirements for this degree? 

Normally we require a UK 2:1 (Honours) or equivalent in relevant subjects but we will consider high 2:2 or relevant work experience.

Q4. What prospects would students studying this course benefit from?

On graduating with a MA in marketing you will have a theoretical and empirical knowledge of marketing and employed a variety of academically based marketing techniques and practices as well as a critical awareness of current issues at the forefront of marketing in society.  Our graduates are highly employable with the potential to move into variety of different marketing-related roles.
