Last week, Principal Professor Paul Layzell, along with our Gardening team, planted three Gleditsia (honey locust) trees in the area opposite the International Building.
Over the winter, our Gardening team are planting 65 trees across campus as part of a tree planting programme, enhancing all of our tree and woodland areas across our 135 acre campus.
Our tree planting programme is part of a longer-term plan to enhance the woodland areas across campus, which in turn will help to increase biodiversity and improve their overall appearance.
