All students are invited to join our Music Department’s virtual orchestra project this Arrival’s Week 2020. It’s a unique project that for the first time, will involve the collaboration between performers across campus and music creator teams. The project celebrates the 250th year since the birth of famous composer Beethoven. To join the project, you will need to record pre-selected excerpts from Beethoven’s five piano concertos. These excerpts will be taken by a team of selected music creators (composers and sound artists) to create a series of ‘Beethoven Snapshots’, for a world premiere on Saturday 26 September, as part of Welcome Week 2020.
