May 28 2021

From 1-7 June, Royal Holloway Volunteering will be marking national Volunteers’ Week 2021 by thanking our volunteers. As well as short videos announcing Volunteering Awards throughout the week on their Facebook and Instagram pages, we have a range of other ways you can get involved:

Tuesday (1 June) - Volunteering information gazebo will be on Founder’s Square throughout the week, as well as a stand outside our new Volunteering Hub (located between the Windsor and Davison buildings), inviting you to sign up as a student volunteer via our online Volunteering platform.

Wednesday (2 June) - Visit our Community Garden on campus for some fresh air and gardening! Find more details about the project on their Facebook group.

Thursday (3 June) – Closing date for the Royal Holloway Nature Conservation Photo Competition. To enter send us a nature photo you have taken to the Nature Conservation Facebook, Instagram or email us. It can be a wildlife picture, a landscape, or even a photo you've taken on campus. The winning entry will be awarded a £25 gift voucher!

Friday 4 June - NHS care package making activity in the Davison event space from 1pm-3pm. You can find more details and sign up online.

Monday 7 June – The Mayor’s Cup announcement for student volunteer of the year on social media.
