Update: The strike action planned to affect the London Underground from Monday 8 January to Friday 12 January has been suspended. Services may still be disrupted on Monday (8 January) so please check before you travel and allow more time for your journey.
Planned strike action
Strike action will be taking place from Monday 8 to Thursday 11 January, severe disruption is expected with little to no London Underground service expected to run. On Friday 12 January, Underground services will start later than normal.
The Elizabeth line, London Overground, DLR, London Trams and London buses are scheduled to operate as normal. However, they may be subject to last-minute changes, station closures and will be much busier than usual.
If your journey may be affected, please check before you travel and make alternative arrangements to take into account any disruption caused by strike action.
Spring Term Assessment Period
The Spring Term Assessment Period will be going ahead as planned. While we appreciate that this disruption may be challenging, please be aware that the planned strike action will not be accepted as an extenuating circumstance or a reason for being late for an exam.
