Volunteers' Week is next week, and we have lots of activities taking place. The aspiring Governors Forum is taking place on Thursday 7 June which will be a fantastic event for anyone interested in education, and could launch you into an amazing School Governor position.
Tuesday 5 June is #iwill Share Your Pledge Day, a great time to share any pledges you made earlier in the year! Over 800 organisations will be shouting about the pledges they made and you can join in too. Simply make a post on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter and add #iwill! You can find out more about the campaign online.
The Runnymede and Spelthorne Volunteer Awards took place last week with over 70 students receiving our new Volunteering Inspired Awards, produced in cooperation with vInspired. Economics student Andrew Jigmedsuren received the Mayors Cup for Volunteering for volunteering at each of his three years at university.
