I understand and accept that the College and all parties acting on behalf of the College will process personal data about me which I have submitted during the Online Sign-up process as well as other data that the College may obtain about me for any relevant purpose (any purpose connected with my studies, my health and safety, and for any other legitimate reason). This processing may include disclosure of data to third parties acting on behalf of, or delivering services to, the College. I understand that my data will be processed in accordance with the College's student data collection notice the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
I authorise the College to issue information about my progress, including but not limited to, my course results, academic progress and attendance, to my employer or sponsor if my employer or sponsor so requests. I agree to all my work written at the College being processed and stored by any third party Plagiarism Detection Service as appointed by the College.
I understand that information will be provided to the Higher Education Statistics Agency HESA for use in statistical analysis, UKVI, government education departments and equality and diversity departments (UCAS/Student Finance/Office for Fair Access), local councils for electoral registration, funding councils, research councils, the National Student Survey, PTES, PRES and other authorised users of the data. The data will be anonymised where appropriate. Anonymised HESA data may be shared with third parties for statistical and research purposes, as well as assisting audit claims to public funding bodies to detect and prevent fraud. Personal information will not normally be released in any other cases except, for example, in the interest of health and safety or criminal investigation. HESA adhere to the regulations of the UK GDPR framework.
