We have been aware of several scam and fraud campaigns targeting students. If you are contacted by someone claiming to be from Royal Holloway- make sure to not give out any personal details and don’t panic! Remember, it's easy to keep your money safe but it can be difficult to get it back once a scam has occurred.
The University will never call you asking for personal details. If you receive such a call, either offer to call them back on an official Royal Holloway number or hang up and report the incident to the Financial Wellbeing team.
