Last week, the Students’ Union held their annual elections. Over 3,500 students took part, which is a record turnout. Thank you to everyone who joined a process which represents democracy in action. I would like to pass on my congratulations to your new Students' Union President Kate Roberts, who is currently Vice President Education.

Well done also to Alissa Chohan, who was elected as Vice President Education, Henn Warwick elected as Vice President Wellbeing and Diversity and to Lucy Brown elected Vice President Societies and Sport. Congratulations are also due to candidates elected into roles as NUS Delegates and School Reps. All candidates should be congratulated on their efforts.

The Students' Union is an important part of our College community and I look forward to working with the new Sabbatical Officers when they take up their posts in the summer as they work to represent students' interests.
