With just two weeks left of the autumn term, this week we’ll be marking the start of the celebrations on campus with the return of our Festive Market on Thursday (1 December). The market will take place in Founder’s Square from 12-6pm and will include food, drinks and music performances from your fellow students. Please join me and Students’ Union President, Maia Jarvis, at 5pm, when we will be switching on the Christmas tree lights.

I’m aware that at this time of year many of you will also be working towards your assessment deadlines as we near the end of term. Remember, when finishing off projects and assignments, it’s important to look after your general wellbeing too.

In the newsletter this wee, you can find out more about several other festive activities to get involved in when you’re taking a break from your studies - festive meals on campus, our annual Festival of Lessons and Carols with the Choir of Royal Holloway, and plenty going on at the Students’ Union

I hope you enjoy the festivities on campus!
