I was delighted last week to see such high student participation in the Students' Union elections. Almost 25% of you voted in the elections - a record turnout - and you elected Natasha Barrett, Pippa Gentry, Steff Milne, Clement Jones and Willow Wong as your new sabbatical officers, along with a host of representatives for societies and other areas of the SU.
Well done to everyone who was elected to a position, and thank you to everyone who took part. I am proud to be part of an institution with students who actively take part in the political process.
I'm looking forward to working with Natasha, Pippa, Steff, Clement and Willow, as well as all our new SU representatives, over the next year.
