I can’t believe it’s already almost time to have your say in this year’s Students’ Union Elections!

This is your chance to have your say on who you want to represent you as your new Sabbatical Officers and School Reps for the 2022/23 academic year, along with NUS Delegates who will represent Royal Holloway at NUS Conference later this month.

Each year the student body elects four Sabbatical Officers to work full-time in the Students' Union – we represent your views and opinions, run campaigns, and work alongside Union and College staff to implement policy changes that will have a positive impact on student life at Royal Holloway. It’s really important that you exercise your democratic right to vote, and use your voice to have a say on who represents your views as a student!

If you haven't done so already, make sure to check out the candidate manifestos on the SU website and watch back Candidate Question Time to see what the candidates hope to achieve, should they be elected.

It’s worth noting that I can’t run in this year’s election as I’m in my second year as an Officer (which is the maximum length of time you can serve as a Sabbatical Officer). I’ll still be in post until the summer, but I’m excited to find out who I’ll be handing the torch over to in a few months’ time!

Voting opens at 9am on Monday 14 March and closes at 4pm on Wednesday 16 March. Once the votes have been counted and verified, you can find out who has been elected at Results Night from 8pm on Wednesday 16 March. Find out more.
