As I’ve walked about campus over the last couple of weeks I’ve heard some very positive feedback about improvements we’ve made over the summer.  Many of these are the direct result of feedback from you.

Listening to the voices of students is really important to us; your views about what works here at Royal Holloway, and what we can do to support you even more, are essential to our continued improvement. There are lots of ways you can ensure your student voice is heard, just one is by joining the RH100 panel.

RH100 is a panel of 100 students who provide insights that help us to test ideas, develop our thinking and inform how we shape the College for the future.

Last academic year, the panel offered some great insights. As a result, for example, we have introduced helpdesks across campus, making it clearer where to go for assistance and support. Their insights also resulted in the opening hours of the Student Services Centre being extended. The Centre is now open from 8.30am - 6.30pm Monday to Friday.

Our new timetabling system was influenced by RH100. They also supported the delivery of a new extension request system, which you can read more about below.

I’d like to thank all of you who were part of RH100 last year. If you weren’t on the panel, or are new to Royal Holloway, I hope you’ll explore this opportunity to use your student voice
