It’s Spring Term, and that means its national survey season! No matter what year you’re in, or whether you’re an undergraduate or a postgraduate, we’re looking for you to share your experience of studying here at Royal Holloway. Sharing your experiences helps us make Royal Holloway better, and helps future generations of students decide where to study.
How can I get involved?

f you’re a final year undergraduate, you can can complete the National Student Survey (NSS) 2016.
The National Student Survey has been running since 2005 and is a really influential source of information about higher education. Your feedback in the NSS provides us with vital feedback about what you thought about your time here, and directly informs prospective students when they’re looking at which university to go to, for example by checking NSS scores on Unistats.. The survey is hugely important, completely anonymous and only takes a few minutes to complete. Start your survey now.
If you’re a penultimate year undergraduate (meaning your final year is next year) you can take our Penultimate Year Survey.
The second year survey is based on the National Student Survey, and gives us an insight into how you’ve been finding your course so far. We use the feedback from the survey to make real changes at Royal Holloway, both for current students, (like you!) and future students. The survey is completely anonymous and only takes a few minutes to complete. Start your survey now!
If you’re a taught postgraduate you can complete the Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES) 2016.
The survey is run at universities across the UK. By joining in you’re helping us both to understand what it feels like to study on a Royal Holloway Masters programme, and also to make changes around the things you say matter. The survey is completely anonymous and only takes a few minutes to complete . Start your survey now!
Our Spring Photo Competition
And all students can take part in our Spring Photo Competition, which runs throughout Spring Term. We’re looking for photos that capture the spirit of Royal Holloway in this time of changing seasons, and showcase our campus through your eyes and experiences. It’s a great way to get involved. We’ll exhibit the ten best photos in our Picture Gallery in a special exhibition, and showcase them here on our student intranet and on social media. The three very top photographers will also receive a cash prize and a certificate to recognise their achievement!
One last thing…

We’re always working hard to build a better College, both for the students who are already here and the students who will study here in the years to come. By sharing your experiences, you’ll be doing that too.
