As we progress through term two, many of you will be working towards assessment deadlines and completing projects. When completing your assessments and meeting deadlines, it’s important to remember that our Centre for the Development of Academic Skills (CeDAS) can help you with your academic writing and skills, as well as building your confidence in maths, stats and numeracy.

The team consists of a number of dedicated Learning Developers who each week, throughout term time, run a range of group sessions, 1:1 tutorials, drop-ins, workshops and resources on academic writing, English language and study skills as well as maths and numeracy skills. They also offer a wide range of self-study resources, alongside 1:1 tutorials and workshops. More information about CeDAS and the support they offer can be found on the student intranet.

When completing your projects and assignments, it’s also really important to remember to take regular breaks and to look after your mental health and wellbeing. You can discover more about the range of support and resources available to you on the student intranet.
