As we move into the second week of term, I hope your online teaching and learning is going well and you are keeping safe.

Royal Holloway is a close knit community and supporting you, our students, to succeed in your goals has always been our top priority. Throughout the pandemic, we’ve been working hard so you're still able to access a wide range of support and services. In response to the pandemic, last year we adapted our teaching to provide a mixture of face-to-face and online teaching and learning support, and we moved our support services online to provide access to virtual advice and guidance. We know that you’ve valued the face-to-teaching that we were able to deliver. While we are all disappointed to be starting the term online only, you are still able to continue to access our wide range of support from wherever you are studying. Further information is available on the Information Hub on the student intranet.

This week and over the next few months, you will have the opportunity to use your student voice in a survey which asks you to evaluate your experience so far at Royal Holloway. Final year students will be receiving a link to the National Student Survey (NSS) and as a College, we are also sending an undergraduate survey that mirrors the NSS and allows all undergraduate students to give us feedback. We would like to hear your views on your entire student experience. Your feedback is really important to us and what you say helps us continue to improve the student experience here at Royal Holloway.

I’d like to thank you in advance for your participation in our surveys and I look forward to reading your thoughts.
