With the upcoming UK General Election on Thursday 8 June, campaigning by all parties is now well underway.

So that you can have your say about our country’s future you need to make sure that you’re registered to vote by Monday 22 May. As your exams will be over by polling day, it’s important to consider where you’ll be on the day of the vote and to think about your options. The quickest and easiest way to register to vote is on the Gov.uk website – it only takes a few minutes.

Over the coming weeks, we’re planning lots of roadshows, events and debates on campus with the Students’ Union, so that you can find out more about the election and share your thoughts on the issues that matter to you before casting your vote.

Keep an eye on the student intranet and Campus Life Facebook and Twitter for more information.
