Dec 01 2019
We’re now into December and with the festive season just around the corner, for the first time since 1923, the country will head to the polls in a general election.

As a College we have a long history of alumni who have made a positive difference in the world by being active citizens. By participating in elections, you too can be an active citizen.

The deadline for registering to vote has now passed however, if you have registered to vote, I encourage you to cast your vote on Thursday 12 December to make sure you have your say about our country’s future.

Marking the beginning of the festive season on campus, our Festive Market will be held on Thursday 5 December in Founder’s Square. There will be market stalls, live music, festive food and drink and arts and crafts. I hope you enjoy the range of activities on offer and that you will join me and Students’ Union President, Jack O’Neill, at 5pm when we will be switching on our Christmas tree lights - I look forward to seeing you there.
