Our Vote Because campaign is now well underway, and this week there will be roadshows taking place across campus where you can register to vote.
Many of our SU Sabbatical Officers, lecturers, researchers, staff and students have also been sharing why they’ll be voting on Thursday 8 June. If you’d like to get involved, explaining that you ‘vote because….’, simply download our placard, fill it in and take a photo for social media with #VoteBecause.
Casting your vote in the General Election will mean that you can have your say about our country’s future. If you’d like to vote, you need to register by midnight on Monday 22 May. I’d encourage you to register at gov.uk/register-to-vote - it only takes a few minutes and will mean that you can make your voice heard on 8 June.
