Thanks to everyone who took part in the autumnal campus photo competition  over the last week through social media. Congratulations to Management with Marketing student, Elisavet Isaia who was the winner with the image you can see above.

The clocks went back this morning, signifying the official start of winter. As the nights get longer, it’s important to remember to stay safe around campus and in the local community. Whether you’re returning home after an evening studying, an exercise class at Jane Holloway Hall, or SU night out, please remember to stick to well-lit and well used areas when it's dark and keep the noise down to avoid disturbing other students or local residents.

Looking back to last week, on Wednesday (24 October), over 1,200 of you attended the Careers Fair. With over 30 employers in attendance, such as KPMG, EY, Marks and Spencer and Teach First. For many of you, this would have been your first step to explore what you might want to do after graduation and a chance to apply for summer internships. Whatever stage you are at in thinking about employment, I hope you found the Careers Fair to be a positive and productive day, and I would encourage you to follow-up with employers and research the job roles and companies that interest you. Look out for careers events, workshops and one-to-one support to help you to do this.
