With just two weeks of term left, it’s incredible to think how much our campus has developed over the past year.

We’re creating new spaces with the best facilities to meet your needs and we’re very nearly there! The Founder’s East roadworks are due to finish at the end of June, so that those of you graduating this summer can celebrate in Founder’s Square. If you’re returning in September, our Emily Wilding Davison Building and George Eliot Halls will be ready to use and enjoy by Autumn term.

During the coming months, as we finish the Emily Wilding Davison Building, the Library, Careers & Employability Service and the Student Services Centre will move into the building – you can stay up to date with details about the move on the student intranet. Next year, we’ll continue work on the Science building too, which will open in 2018.

I’m aware that the works have caused, and indeed continue to cause, some disruption, and I’d like to say thank you for your patience. Your feedback is very important to us, and over the past few weeks, we have been running a survey, asking you to share your thoughts on the building work. Thanks to everyone who’s completed it – there’s still time to take part. We’ll share the results and the actions we’re taking by the end of term.
