Using MFA to access your Royal Holloway accounts adds an extra layer of security, and you will be familiar with using it to login to some of our systems such as Moodle, your emails, and any Microsoft apps (e.g. Word).
Microsoft are now enforcing a new MFA method called ‘number matching’, which we will soon be introducing at the university. This means that if you use the push notification method of MFA, you will now receive a two-digit number on the device you are working on, which you will be prompted to enter in to your phone – a simple, additional step in order to access your account.
