An important part of student life is developing your own personal values and, in turn, discovering what you are looking for in potential employers when considering your next steps.
This week, the Careers team will be hosting the Diversity Careers Fair on our Egham campus on Wednesday (31 January) between 12-3pm in the Davison Building.
Come along to meet employers and representatives from diversity-focused groups, who are working hard towards creating a more diverse and inclusive workplace in areas such as gender, ethnicity, social mobility, mental health, disability, and neurodiversity. Many will have live vacancies, and there will be plenty of opportunities for conversations with employers about how you will be supported both in the workplace and throughout the application process.
Working for an employer that reflects your values can play a crucial part in personal happiness and success. Whatever stage you're at in your career journey, this event is an opportunity to explore how employers are embracing Diversity, Equality and Inclusion and what that could mean for you. It can also enable you to be better informed when considering how your career aspirations align with the current job market.
