To celebrate British Science Week, the School of Engineering, Physical and Mathematical Sciences are hosting a series of lectures, taking place from Monday 11- Friday 15 March on our Egham campus. Immerse yourself in a captivating lecture series covering a range of fascinating subjects. Each event features distinguished speakers delving into the realms of Physics, Computer Science, Biology, and Mathematics.

Featuring esteemed speakers including Professor Stephen Gibson, Dr. Francisco Ferreira Ruiz, Dr. Enrique López-Juez, Professor Stefanie Gerke, and a speaker from the Institute of Physics (TBC), this series promises to ignite your curiosity and inspire scientific wonder. You must have a ticket for each of the talks you want to attend.

The agenda for each day is as follows:

  • 6pm— Doors open with drinks and refreshments.
  • 6.15pm— Doors close.
  • 6.20pm— Talks begin.
  • 7.10pm— Talks end, and Q&A begins.
  • 7.25pm— Q&A ends, and people begin leaving.
  • 7.30pm— Official end of event.

Each ticket includes a complimentary drink on entry, with alcoholic beverages available (ID required). This event is designed to engage everyone, regardless of their field of study, making science accessible to all. Don't miss out on this enriching experience!
