As we approach the halfway point of Autumn Term, I hope that you’re enjoying your course and that your studies are going well.
If you do find that you need a bit of help, you might want to talk to our Centre for the Development of Academic Skills (CeDAS). The team is there to help you with a range of events and 1:1 tutorials. So, for example, if you’re not sure how to approach your first piece of writing or need guidance on statistics for your research paper, be sure to get in touch with them.
This week, the Careers & Employability Service are hosting the Careers Fair. The fair is a fantastic opportunity for you to meet with prospective employers and learn about career opportunities that may suit you. Many of our students have found opportunities at the fair in the past and whether you are in first year or your final year, studying at undergraduate or postgraduate level, I would encourage you to go along and speak to employers about what opportunities might interest you now or in the future.
