Kick start your project with the Student Opportunities Fund

Do you have entrepreneurial spirit? Do you think outside the box? Got an idea for something that could improve the student experience?

If you – or a group of students – have a creative or innovative concept for a project, social enterprise or activity that requires funding, applications for the Student Opportunities Fund are now open!

Funded by Royal Holloway alumni who donate every year to support projects and initiatives which enrich the student experience here on campus, you can apply for anything between £100 and £3,000.

Funding recipients will also benefit from mentorship to ensure that their ideas are successfully translated into applications

Want to pitch perfect? Join us at our information session.

You can find out more about how to apply and what’s involved, at our Student Opportunities Fund information session on Tuesday 16 October, 4-5pm, in the Event Space, Davison Building.

The team will outline the type of projects that have received funding in the past, go through the application process and are available to answer your questions.

And who knows? You may be able to say that your career started here!

Book your place by emailing the team at studentopportunitiesfundroyalholloway.ac.uk

You are also welcome to drop in to the Event Space on the day.

Attendees at the information session will receive five Passport Points for their attendance.

Please note:  Student groups affiliated with the Students' Union should not submit a request to the Student Opportunities Fund but liaise with the Students' Union instead.
