Alumnus and Paralympian Gaz Choudhry recently spoke to the Active Lifestyle and Sport team about preparing for his second Paralympics and winning the Italian League Double. He will be part of Team GB’s Wheelchair Basketball squad.
He was asked what he is most looking forward to at this year’s Paralympics:“For me personally it’s the competition – I can’t wait to get on the floor and just compete. We’ve got a super tough group with that first game against Algeria and I just can’t wait."
Because it’s my second games I think I know what to expect; there are some things when you go to the Paralympics to which nothing else compares, those inspiring and incredible visuals that you only see at a Paralympic Village.”
